Sectional Garage Doors in Białystok — KS SYSTEM
A sectional door is now the most common choice for single-family garages. The KS SYSTEM curtain, made of a monolithic 40 mm panel, lifts up to the ceiling and does not protrude beyond the outline of the garage — warm, quiet and convenient. We will choose the structure, the colour and the drive, then fit it with our own crew.
40 mm Panel, PUR Foam and Z100/Z225 Steel
At the heart of a KS SYSTEM sectional door is a monolithic panel with a constant thickness of 40 mm filled with PUR foam of a density of at least 38 kg/m³. It is a thick, rigid and well-insulated wall — in the Podlasie climate it genuinely limits heat loss from the garage and quietens the interior. Every door meets stringent standards for resistance to water penetration, wind load and air permeability.
The panel is skinned with sheet metal on both sides: galvanised Z100 steel on the inside, Z225 with a thickness of 0.48 mm on the outside. The whole is covered with a primer and an outer polyester coating — resistant to corrosion and the weather, so the door holds its colour and looks for years. KS SYSTEM uses panels from an international manufacturer of the highest quality.
500 and 610 mm Panels and Embossing
We make up the door curtain from panels in two heights — 500 mm and 610 mm — which are combined on the door to suit the height of the opening. As a result the proportions of the embossing look even, whatever the dimensions of the garage.
The look of the panel depends on the chosen embossing. KS SYSTEM offers four variants:
- No embossing (smooth) — a minimalist, uniform surface.
- Single — the classic, most recognisable rhythm.
- Narrow — narrow horizontal embossing, a visually lighter division.
- Ribbed 8 mm — fine, dense grooving 8 mm deep.
Textures, RAL Colours and Woodgrain Finishes
We choose the panel surface in three textures: smooth, stucco and woodgrain (a wood pattern). On top of that comes a rich palette of colours and finishes, so the door is easy to coordinate with the façade and with your windows and external doors.
As standard (a panel with no embossing) there are, among others, woodgrain finishes — golden oak, walnut, bog oak, mahogany, winchester — and colours: anthracite texture, smooth anthracite RAL 7016, smooth white RAL 9016, silver RAL 9006, grey RAL 9007, black RAL 9005. For panels with no embossing there is also a wide palette of non-standard colours (among others basaltgrau, betongrau, eiche in several shades, schwarzbraun, sheffield oak). Panels with single or narrow embossing (in the stucco and woodgrain textures) and ribbed 8 mm panels have a narrower set of RAL colours — we will choose it during the survey, sample in hand.
Survey, Drive and Fitting in Białystok
A sectional door tucks away under the ceiling, so the height of the lintel and the room under the ceiling for the tracks both matter. We check this at the free on-site survey — we measure the opening, assess the reveals and the services, and then recommend the panel combination, the texture and the colour.
The door can be opened by hand or with an electric drive — for sectional garage doors we choose SOMFY automation with a remote and obstacle detection. The fitting is carried out by our Pro-Plast crew in Białystok and the surrounding area; we offer transport and instalments. Need a different solution?
