MB-60 is an aluminium system with a thermal break — that is, with insulation built into the profile, which separates the outer part from the inner one and limits heat loss. This is why MB-60 suits external structures, where it is warm on one side and cold on the other: windows, doors, shopfronts and conservatories.

The build depth is 60 mm in windows and 69 mm in doors. The thermal break means heat from inside does not escape so easily through the metal profile — while aluminium provides the rigidity and durability that uPVC cannot give on large structures. The system is sealed with EPDM gaskets, resistant to UV, frost and ageing.

Why a Thermal Break, and When to Choose It?

Aluminium conducts heat very well — which is a drawback in a window, because a cold profile chills the interior. A thermal break is an insulating insert in the middle of the profile that interrupts this bridge and lets heat stay in the room. It is precisely the thermal break that tells a warm external system apart from a light internal structure.

So we choose MB-60 wherever the profile separates warm from cold and we want to limit losses: in a building's windows and doors, in the shopfront of a heated unit, in the wall of a conservatory.
