MODERNTHERM is our most all-round uPVC window line — a sensible middle ground between warmth and price that suits most houses and flats. A 6-chamber profile, an 80 mm build depth and a triple-glazed unit give a whole-window coefficient of Uw = 0,81 W/m²K, a figure very close to the warmest lines.

The frame and sash, 80 mm deep, hold a wide 48 mm unit at Ug = 0,5 W/m²K, while the 6 chambers improve the frame's insulation. It is a line designed to run trouble-free for years and to ask no compromises day to day.

MODERNTHERM is a good choice when you are after a solid, warm window without paying extra for passive-class figures. It is an „all-purpose” line — it works in a detached house and in a block-of-flats apartment alike.

Hardware, Colours and Veneers

MODERNTHERM runs on perimeter MACO hardware with a full set of features that improve comfort and security: a wind-resistant catch holds the tilted sash steady in the wind, two anti-lift keeps make prising harder, and a lift device with a lock makes closing large sashes easier.

You choose the colour independently of the insulation. The profile core comes in white, anthracite, caramel and brown, and on top of that we offer over 30 veneer designs — wood-effect and plain. That way you can match the window to the façade and to the interior, on both sides too.

It's worth settling the window colour together with the sills and roller blinds, so the whole thing works together. Once we've matched the line, we'll suggest coordinating extras in a matching palette.
