What is the bluALU aluminium cap?

bluALU are PVC windows with a powder-coated aluminium cap on the profile — that is its main distinguishing feature. You get a durable, designer aluminium face on the outside and the warmth and energy efficiency of the PVC profile on the inside.

The aluminium cap increases the build depth to 94 mm — deeper than the other ABAKUS lines. The profile remains 6-chamber, with a 2 mm steel reinforcement and additional stiffening ribs.

What warmth and security does bluALU provide?

bluALU reaches Uw 0,76 W/m²K for the 1230/1480 reference window, with a triple-glazed, 2-chamber unit at Ug 0,5 W/m²K. The construction complies with the passive house standard.

Security is provided by Roto NX hardware and the Roto Line Secustik handle, and the windows meet the RC2 class. A warm edge spacer between the panes limits heat loss at the edge of the glass.
